City of San Diego Commuter Survey

To create a cleaner environment for future generations, the City of San Diego’s Climate Action Plan calls for more people biking, walking or taking transit to get around. In order to track our progress toward these goals, the City is conducting a survey to understand how people commute. Thank you in advance for your participation!

How many days per week do you travel to and from your workplace?

What is your primary mode of transportation to work?

If you replied 'Driving alone' in the previous question, how many times per week do you drive yourself to and from work?

Are there any specific reasons that prevent you from biking, walking, or utilizing transit to get to work?

Check all that apply.

Does your employer offer incentives for taking alternative transportation (i.e. not driving alone) to work?

If you replied “yes” to the previous question, do you utilize your employer-offered incentives?

What incentives/programs would encourage you to take transit, bike, or walk to work?

Check all that apply.

Which of the following best describes your age?

How close do you live to your workplace?

To help us understand the possible impact of commuting, we would like to know the distance between your primary residence and workplace. This information will not be shared or used for any other purpose.
